Dear University Rosedale resident,

As your City Councillor, I am committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. Traffic calming measures play a vital role in improving the quality of life in our neighbourhoods by reducing vehicle speeds, enhancing pedestrian safety, and creating a more enjoyable environment for all residents.

We understand that the success of any traffic calming initiative relies on strong community support. That’s why we have created a series of Google Form polls for you to have your say on the proposed measures for your street. Your input will help us determine if there is widespread support for the implementation of these changes.

Please take a moment to complete the poll corresponding to your street. We will only proceed with the proposed traffic calming measures if there is clear evidence of strong community backing.

End Alternate Street Parking – Montrose Avenue between Dundas Street and College Street

All Way Stop – Lowther Avenue and Admiral Road

Speed Humps – Essex Street

Speed Humps – Beatrice Street from Dundas Street to College Street

Speed Humps – Ashley Ave from Douglas Drive to Governor’s Road Bridge

If you’d like to propose a poll for traffic calming measures, please contact my office at councillor_saxe@toronto.ca

We appreciate your participation and value your feedback. Together, we can make University-Rosedale a safer and more vibrant community.

Sincerely,

Councillor Dianne Saxe
